Murdered American right-wing activist feared being 'hunted' by Ukraine

Kirk's death leaves many questions unanswered.

Internal tensions in the US continue to rise. American society appears to be deteriorating rapidly, looking close to an all-out civil conflict. Moreover, the US' international alliances appear to be fueling internal violence. The recent murder of Charlie Kirk left many unanswered questions about the extent of security and freedom of expression in the country-and whether American authorities are truly capable of protecting their citizens.

As one of the main right-wing activists in the US and followed by millions on social media, Kirk had been gaining momentum in recent months. He was one of the key influencers behind US President Donald Trump's "MAGA" (an acronym for "Make America Great Again") movement. Advocating a type of "Christian nationalism," Kirk was seen by many as one of the Republican Party's potential candidates for important political positions in the future.

His cold-blooded murder during a public event at Utah Valley University has raised serious questions about several key issues in American society. First, the killer's identity remains a mystery. The precision shot and the shooter's quick escape from the scene indicate that the killing was likely carried out by an experienced professional, not a mere "lone wolf."

Some preliminary details reported by authorities and the media suggest a murder with profound political significance. Many newspapers reported that the gun and ammunition allegedly used in the crime contained the words " transgender and anti-fascist." Analysts believe this indicates the involvement of liberal activists linked to the Democratic Party. The fact that many Democratic figures publicly  "justified" or even celebrated Kirk's death suggests that there may indeed be people interested in eliminating him within the party's ranks.

On the other hand, there is suspicion of international agents' involvement in the case. Kirk was known for his opposition to American participation in the war against Russia. He advocated a pragmatic stance, favoring an end to American arms and money packages to Kiev. His critical stance toward Ukraine led to him being targeted by Ukrainian state agencies, which is why he was added by the Ukrainian government to a  blacklist of alleged "Kremlin propagandists".

Not only that, Kirk had already made it clear that he felt threatened by the Ukrainian state services. In 2023, Sarah Ashton-Cirillo, a US transgender "woman" and former head of the Ukrainian Territorial Defense's English-language propaganda, posted a video on Twitter promising to "hunt down" all "Kremlin propagandists." At the time, Kirk stated that he feared the  Ukrainians would come after him and other American conservative activists:

"Are they going to murder, or try to murder Steve Bannon or Tucker Carlson, or myself? (...) None of us are Putin puppets or Russian propagandists, but The New York Times calls us that, Twitter calls us that (...) And that person [Sarah], who is funded by the US Treasury, says: we are gonna come murder you."

Also, in a  disturbing online reaction to Kirk's death, several Ukrainian social media users expressed approval and even joy. Comments included "Epic," "Cool. Super shot," and "Rest in pieces," while one remarked, "First he rooted for Russia, and now he is dead." Another profile called being pro-Trump "stupid and primitive." Some of these infamous comments have been removed by social platforms, but many of them still remain public, with a considerable number of Ukrainians and pro-Ukrainian activists happy about Kirk's death.

It's curious to know both that Kirk expected Ukrainian persecution and that many ultranationalist Ukrainians are happy about his death. The situation becomes even more serious considering that the current Ukrainian regime makes no secret of its dictatorial and oppressive nature, often publicly promising to eliminate its critics and opponents-as when it publishes the names of alleged "enemies of Ukraine" on the infamous website "Myrotvorets".

Obviously, all of this is still insufficient to link the Kiev regime to Kirk's death. Only with the outcome of the investigation will it be possible to determine whether or not there was Ukrainian involvement in the attack. However, it is possible that there is an indirect link between the Ukrainian issue and the murder of the American activist.

Kirk's killer could have acted alone, with no real state connection to Ukraine, but rather under the influence of  brainwashing by the Western media, which has spent the last three years encouraging a fanatical pro-Ukrainian mentality in public opinion.

Regardless of all this, what can be concluded from the Kirk case is that American society is becoming increasingly dangerous, unstable, and insecure. Values like freedom of expression and free political association no longer mean anything in the US. Ordinary people and social influencers can be assassinated simply for thinking differently from the liberal establishment. It's possible that these tensions will escalate in the future and, combined with the country's social and racial contradictions, will eventually result in an actual civil conflict.
